23-25 April 2026 – Çanakkale Victory Cup Offshore Race
The 7th Presidential International Yacht Races Çanakkale Victory Cup races will be held on 23-25 April 2026.
The Çanakkale Victory Cup consists of three races: one race across the Bosphorus, one race across the Istanbul-Çanakkale open sea, and one race across the Dardanelles. The awards ceremony for the special race, which will be held on the Bosphorus on April 23rd, National Sovereignty and Children’s Day, will be held at a later date. Following the Bosphorus race on April 23rd, 2026, the Istanbul-Çanakkale open sea race and the Çanakkale Strait race will begin on April 25th. The teams that complete the three-race series will receive their awards at a special ceremony to be held in Çanakkale on April 25th, 2026.
The team that finishes first in the ORC class of the Istanbul-Çanakkale offshore race will receive the Çanakkale Cup Line Honours award, while the team with the best corrected time in the offshore race will also be awarded.
The teams that win awards in the race to be held on the Bosphorus on April 23, 2026, will be awarded the National Sovereignty Cup, which will be determined according to the results of the Bosphorus leg at the awards ceremony to be held in Istanbul at a future date.
Races will be held in the ORC and Traveler classes. The categories available for races will be announced in the race announcement. As a prerequisite for participation, registered teams must present a receipt for a donation of at least 5,000 TL to any NGO. Teams that pre-register will be eligible for special benefits.
