DESCRIPTION:7th Presidential International Yacht Races \n23-25 ​​April 2026 – Çanakkale Cup avd Coast Guard Offshore Race\nThe 7th Presidential International Yacht Races\, Çanakkale Cup and Coast Guard Cup races will be held on April 23-25\, 2026. \nIn the ORC\, Sportsboat\, IRC\, and Cruiser classes:\nThe top three teams in each division in the April 23 Istanbul Strait stage will receive the National Sovereignty Cup award\,\nThe top three teams in each division in the April 23-24 Istanbul – Çanakkale Coast Guard Cup will receive the Coast Guard Line Honours award\,\nThe top three teams in each division based on the overall results of the 3 races\, and the top three teams in the Women’s Sailing/University Sailing Team special categories\, will receive the Çanakkale Cup award. \nThe Çanakkale Cup consists of a total of 3 races: 1 Istanbul Strait race\, 1 Istanbul – Çanakkale Coast Guard Cup open sea race\, and 1 Çanakkale Strait race. The awards ceremony for the special race to be held in the Istanbul Strait on April 23rd\, National Sovereignty and Children’s Day\, will be held at a later date. Following the April 23rd\, 2026 Strait race\, the Istanbul-Çanakkale Offshore Race and the Çanakkale Strait Race will take place on April 25th. Teams that complete this series of three races will receive their awards at a special ceremony in Çanakkale on April 25th\, 2026. \nThe team that finishes first in its class in the Istanbul-Çanakkale Coast Guard Cup Offshore Race will receive the Coast Guard Cup Line Honours award\, and the team with the best corrected time in the Offshore Race will also be awarded. \nTeams that win awards in the race to be held in the Istanbul Strait on April 23rd\, 2026\, will receive the National Sovereignty Cup\, determined according to the results of the Strait stage\, at an awards ceremony to be held in Istanbul at a later date. \nRaces will be held under the ORC\, IRC\, Sportsboat\, and Cruiser classes (the Sportsboat class will not be open for offshore races). The categories open to races will be announced in the race notice. As a prerequisite for participation\, registered teams must submit a receipt for a donation of at least 5\,000 TL to any NGO. DESCRIPTION:Presidency 6th International Yacht Races\n20–25 July 2025 – Arkın Karpaz Gate Marina Cup Offshore Race\nThe Arkın Karpaz Gate Marina Cup consists of one Marmaris–Karpaz offshore race and two inshore (windward-leeward) races to be held off the coast of Karpaz. \nThe Marmaris–Karpaz offshore race will start from Marmaris Bay on 20 July 2025\, and the finish will be taken at the finish line to be established off Arkın Karpaz Gate Marina. \nPrizes will be awarded to the top three teams in each division of the ORC\, IRC (subject to a minimum of 3 boats)\, and Cruising (Gezgin) classes during the prize-giving ceremony on 25 July 2025 at Arkın Karpaz Gate Marina.The first team to finish the Marmaris–Karpaz offshore leg will be awarded the Cyprus Cup Line Honours Trophy. \nThe races will be held under the ORC and Cruising classes. DESCRIPTION:Presidency 6th International Yacht Races\nOctober 29th – November 2nd\, 2025 – Republic Cup Race\nThe Republic Cup will consist of: \n\n\n1 Istanbul Bosphorus Race\, \n\n\n1 coastal race and 2 windward-leeward (buoy) races for ORC classes\, \n\n\n2 coastal races for Cruising classes. \n\n\nOn 29 October 2025\, there will be 1 Istanbul Bosphorus Race.On 1 November 2025\, Cruising class will sail 1 coastal islands course\, while ORC classes will sail 2 buoy races.On 2 November 2025\, all classes will compete in 1 coastal islands course. \nThe Republic Cup will start with the Istanbul Bosphorus Fişekhane Leg on 29 October 2025. The division winners of this leg will also receive the special Fişekhane Award. \nPrizes will be awarded to the top three boats in each division of ORC and Cruising classes at the Prize-Giving Ceremony on 2 November 2025 at Fişekhane\, Istanbul.The overall winner of the ORC General Classification across the two race days will be crowned the Republic Cup Champion. \nAdditionally\, the awards for the Istanbul Bosphorus Races held on 19 May and 23 April will also be presented at the Fişekhane Prize-Giving Ceremony on 2 November. \nThe regatta will be held under ORC and Cruising classes. DESCRIPTION:Presidency 6th International Yacht Races\nMay 14th – 19th\, 2025 – Independence Cup Offshore Race\nCLICK FOR REGISTRATION INFORMATION FORM\nThe Kurtuluş Cup consists of two races: one offshore race from Istanbul to Samsun and one Istanbul Bosphorus race. The Istanbul – Samsun offshore race will start on May 14\, 2025\, while the Istanbul Bosphorus race will commence on May 19\, 2025. \nThe Istanbul – Samsun offshore race will begin on May 14\, 2025\, from Anadolu Feneri\, where the Bosphorus connects to the Black Sea. The Kurtuluş Cup Bosphorus leg will start on May 19\, 2025\, off the shores of Dolmabahçe Palace. \nTeams that do not participate in the offshore race can still compete in the Bosphorus leg and be eligible for awards. The offshore race awards will be presented in Samsun on May 19\, 2025\, while the Bosphorus leg award ceremony will take place in Istanbul on June 15\, 2025. \nThe finish of the Istanbul – Samsun offshore race will be taken at the finish line to be set up off Samsun Port. \nThe top three teams in the ORC A-B-C and Cruiser classes will be awarded at the award ceremony to be held in Samsun on June 15\, 2025. According to the results of the ORC general classification\, the winning team will be crowned the Independence Cup Champion. \nThe races will be held under ORC and Explorer classes. The categories in which the races are open will be announced in the race announcement. As a prerequisite for participation in the races\, pre-registering teams must obtain the approval of the offshore race technical committee and submit a receipt for a donation of at least 5\,000 TL to any NGO.
