{"id":27703,"date":"2024-11-23T21:48:56","date_gmt":"2024-11-23T18:48:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sailturkiye.racing\/events\/2025-cumhuriyet-kupasi\/"},"modified":"2025-08-27T13:12:13","modified_gmt":"2025-08-27T10:12:13","slug":"2025-republic-cup","status":"publish","type":"tribe_events","link":"https:\/\/sailturkiye.racing\/en\/events\/2025-republic-cup\/","title":{"rendered":"2025 Republic Cup"},"content":{"rendered":"<h6><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Presidency 6th International Yacht Races<\/span><\/h6>\n<h4>October 29th &#8211; November 2nd, 2025 &#8211; Republic Cup Race<\/h4>\n<p data-start=\"192\" data-end=\"231\">The <strong data-start=\"196\" data-end=\"212\">Republic Cup<\/strong> will consist of:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"232\" data-end=\"385\">\n<li data-start=\"232\" data-end=\"263\">\n<p data-start=\"234\" data-end=\"263\"><strong data-start=\"234\" data-end=\"260\">1 Istanbul Bosphorus Race<\/strong>,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"264\" data-end=\"339\">\n<p data-start=\"266\" data-end=\"339\"><strong data-start=\"266\" data-end=\"336\">1 coastal race and 2 windward-leeward (buoy) races for ORC classes<\/strong>,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"340\" data-end=\"385\">\n<p data-start=\"342\" data-end=\"385\"><strong data-start=\"342\" data-end=\"382\">2 coastal races for Cruising classes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"387\" data-end=\"665\">On <strong data-start=\"390\" data-end=\"409\">29 October 2025<\/strong>, there will be <strong data-start=\"425\" data-end=\"451\">1 Istanbul Bosphorus Race<\/strong>.<br data-start=\"452\" data-end=\"455\" \/>On <strong data-start=\"458\" data-end=\"477\">1 November 2025<\/strong>, Cruising class will sail <strong data-start=\"504\" data-end=\"532\">1 coastal islands course<\/strong>, while ORC classes will sail <strong data-start=\"562\" data-end=\"578\">2 buoy races<\/strong>.<br data-start=\"579\" data-end=\"582\" \/>On <strong data-start=\"585\" data-end=\"604\">2 November 2025<\/strong>, all classes will compete in <strong data-start=\"634\" data-end=\"662\">1 coastal islands course<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"667\" data-end=\"847\">The Republic Cup will start with the <strong data-start=\"704\" data-end=\"737\">Istanbul Bosphorus Fi\u015fekhane Leg<\/strong> on <strong data-start=\"741\" data-end=\"760\">29 October 2025<\/strong>. The division winners of this leg will also receive the <strong data-start=\"817\" data-end=\"844\">special Fi\u015fekhane Award<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"849\" data-end=\"1148\">Prizes will be awarded to the top three boats in each division of <strong data-start=\"915\" data-end=\"943\">ORC and Cruising classes<\/strong> at the <strong data-start=\"951\" data-end=\"1018\">Prize-Giving Ceremony on 2 November 2025 at Fi\u015fekhane, Istanbul<\/strong>.<br data-start=\"1019\" data-end=\"1022\" \/>The overall winner of the ORC General Classification across the two race days will be crowned the <strong data-start=\"1120\" data-end=\"1145\">Republic Cup Champion<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1150\" data-end=\"1319\">Additionally, the <strong data-start=\"1168\" data-end=\"1236\">awards for the Istanbul Bosphorus Races held on 19 May and 23 April<\/strong> will also be presented at the <strong data-start=\"1267\" data-end=\"1316\">Fi\u015fekhane Prize-Giving Ceremony on 2 November<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1321\" data-end=\"1625\">The regatta will be held under <strong data-start=\"1352\" data-end=\"1380\">ORC and Cruising classes<\/strong>. Categories open to entry will be published in the Notice of Race.<br data-start=\"1447\" data-end=\"1450\" \/>As a condition of entry, teams must provide proof of a <strong data-start=\"1505\" data-end=\"1537\">minimum donation of 5,000 TL<\/strong> made in 2025 to any NGO.
