{"id":27709,"date":"2024-11-23T21:32:30","date_gmt":"2024-11-23T18:32:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sailturkiye.racing\/events\/2025-canakkale-kupasi\/"},"modified":"2025-08-11T13:28:02","modified_gmt":"2025-08-11T10:28:02","slug":"2025-the-canakkale-cup","status":"publish","type":"tribe_events","link":"https:\/\/sailturkiye.racing\/en\/events\/2025-the-canakkale-cup\/","title":{"rendered":"2025 The \u00c7anakkale Victory Cup"},"content":{"rendered":"<h6 style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Presidency 6th International Yacht Races<\/span><\/h6>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left;\">Presidency 6th International Yacht Races \u2013 \u00c7anakkale Victory Cup<\/h4>\n<h6 style=\"text-align: left;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.racingrulesofsailing.org\/documents\/12333\/event\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span class=\"trx_addons_accent_bg\">CLICK FOR REGISTRATION INFORMATION FORM<\/span><\/a><\/h6>\n<p data-start=\"153\" data-end=\"246\">The <strong data-start=\"157\" data-end=\"176\">postponed races<\/strong> of the \u00c7anakkale Victory Cup will be held on <strong data-start=\"222\" data-end=\"243\">22\u201324 August 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"248\" data-end=\"286\">The Cup consists of <strong data-start=\"268\" data-end=\"283\">three races<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"287\" data-end=\"373\">\n<li data-start=\"287\" data-end=\"317\">\n<p data-start=\"289\" data-end=\"317\">1 <strong data-start=\"291\" data-end=\"315\">Istanbul Strait Race<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"318\" data-end=\"341\">\n<p data-start=\"320\" data-end=\"341\">1 <strong data-start=\"322\" data-end=\"339\">Offshore Race<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"342\" data-end=\"373\">\n<p data-start=\"344\" data-end=\"373\">1 <strong data-start=\"346\" data-end=\"371\">\u00c7anakkale Strait Race<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"375\" data-end=\"700\">The awards for the <strong data-start=\"394\" data-end=\"410\">special race<\/strong> held in the <strong data-start=\"423\" data-end=\"454\">Istanbul Strait on 23 April<\/strong>, National Sovereignty and Children\u2019s Day, will be presented at a later date. Due to the <strong data-start=\"543\" data-end=\"583\">Istanbul earthquake on 23 April 2025<\/strong>, the <strong data-start=\"589\" data-end=\"627\">Istanbul \u2013 \u00c7anakkale Offshore Race<\/strong> and the <strong data-start=\"636\" data-end=\"661\">\u00c7anakkale Strait Race<\/strong> were postponed to 22\u201324 August 2025.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"702\" data-end=\"834\">Teams completing all three races in the series will receive their awards at a <strong data-start=\"780\" data-end=\"831\">special ceremony in \u00c7anakkale on 24 August 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"836\" data-end=\"896\">Following the <strong data-start=\"850\" data-end=\"875\">\u00c7anakkale Strait Race<\/strong> on 24 August 2025:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"897\" data-end=\"1125\">\n<li data-start=\"897\" data-end=\"998\">\n<p data-start=\"899\" data-end=\"998\">Winners in the <strong data-start=\"914\" data-end=\"921\">ORC<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"926\" data-end=\"938\">Cruising<\/strong> classes will be awarded at a grand ceremony in \u00c7anakkale.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"999\" data-end=\"1125\">\n<p data-start=\"1001\" data-end=\"1125\">The first boat to finish the <strong data-start=\"1030\" data-end=\"1068\">Istanbul \u2013 \u00c7anakkale Offshore Race<\/strong> will receive the <strong data-start=\"1086\" data-end=\"1122\">\u00c7anakkale Cup Line Honours Award<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1127\" data-end=\"1281\">Winners of the <strong data-start=\"1142\" data-end=\"1166\">Istanbul Strait Race<\/strong> on 23 April will be awarded special prizes at a future ceremony in Istanbul, based on the Bosphorus leg results.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1283\" data-end=\"1603\">The races will be held under <strong data-start=\"1312\" data-end=\"1319\">ORC<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"1324\" data-end=\"1336\">Cruising<\/strong> classes. The categories open to entry will be announced in the Notice of Race. As a condition of entry, participating teams must provide proof of a <strong data-start=\"1485\" data-end=\"1517\">minimum donation of 5,000 TL<\/strong> to any registered NGO.
