Presidency 6th International Yacht Races

October 29th – November 2nd, 2025 – Republic Cup Race

The Republic Cup will consist of:

• 1 Istanbul Bosphorus Race,

• 1 coastal race and 2 windward-leeward (buoy) races for ORC classes,

• 2 coastal races for Cruising classes.

On 29 October 2025, there will be 1 Istanbul Bosphorus Race.
On 1 November 2025, Cruising class will sail 1 coastal islands course, while ORC classes will sail 2 buoy races.
On 2 November 2025, all classes will compete in 1 coastal islands course.

The Republic Cup will start with the Istanbul Bosphorus Fişekhane Leg on 29 October 2025. The division winners of this leg will also receive the special Fişekhane Award.

Prizes will be awarded to the top three boats in each division of ORC and Cruising classes at the Prize-Giving Ceremony on 2 November 2025 at Fişekhane, Istanbul.
The overall winner of the ORC General Classification across the two race days will be crowned the Republic Cup Champion.

Additionally, the awards for the Istanbul Bosphorus Races held on 19 May and 23 April will also be presented at the Fişekhane Prize-Giving Ceremony on 2 November.

The regatta will be held under ORC and Cruising classes. Categories open to entry will be published in the Notice of Race.
As a condition of entry, teams must provide proof of a minimum donation of 5,000 TL made in 2025 to any NGO. Teams who pre-register will benefit from special advantages.
