April 23rd – 25th 2025 – The Çanakkale Cup Offshore Race
The Çanakkale Cup consists of a total of three races: one in the Istanbul Strait, one offshore race, and one in the Çanakkale Strait. The special race to be held in the Istanbul Strait on April 23rd, National Sovereignty and Children’s Day, will be open to all sailors, and a special award will be given for this race. Teams completing the offshore and Çanakkale Strait races will receive their series awards at a special ceremony to be held in Çanakkale on April 25, 2025.
Following the Çanakkale Strait race on April 25, 2025, winners in the ORC and Cruiser classes will receive their awards at a grand ceremony in Çanakkale. The team that ranks first in the overall ORC standings will be crowned the Çanakkale Cup Champion.
Teams winning awards in the Istanbul Strait race on April 23, 2025, will receive special awards based on the Bosphorus stage results at the award ceremony to be held in Istanbul on June 15, 2025.
The races will be held under ORC and Cruiser classes, and the categories open for participation will be announced in the race notice. As a prerequisite for participation, registered teams must submit a receipt confirming a donation of at least 5,000 TL to any NGO. Teams that pre-register for the races will benefit from special advantages.
